Wonderings about how many backlinks are needed to have a determined PageRank

This is a subject that all bloggers have worries. I am building this blog and, of course, I want that it have a very good traffic in the near future, so I am trying to make all possible things to improve the visibility of my posts in the eyes of the search engines (primary google).
